Signalling Systems Engineering Officer

Role overview:
- Provide leadership and technical support for the review and finalisation of Route Cause Analysis investigations
- Perform project management and provide engineering support for multiple small scale construction works, software and research and development projects
- Provide technical support for the creation and review of maintenance standards. Develop and implement standards and strategies
- Provide technical support for SEQ maintenance and operational services for Signalling equipment and systems.
- Track and investigate faults/incidences, including fault recording and maintenance scheduling information and electrical incidences
Location/hours:
- Brisbane CBD office location.
- Our standard working hours are 38 hour per work week Monday to Friday.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive knowledge of Signalling Systems, equipment and the applicable maintenance standards and Network SEQ procedures and processes
- Auditing, quality improvement, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and risk analysis techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of Signalling Safe-working Principles, practices and procedures including testing and commissioning procedures of safety critical signalling system.
- Team, stakeholder and contractor engagement communication skills, ability to work across multiple functions and scopes of work, take accountability and drive successful outcomes.
- Analytical skills including critical thinking, data analysis, research, and ability to identify and solve complex issues.
- Mandatory qualification of or equivalent to any of the following: Advanced Diploma Engineering (Computer Science), Associate Diploma Electrical Engineering or a Degree in similar
