Emergency Services Officer
Division: CITY OPERATIONS
Unit: CITY INFRA & TRAFFIC OPS
Section: INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENAN
Salary: AUD 56,133.00 per annum plus Shift Allowance and Superannuation
Employment status: Permanent
Employment arrangement: Full time - 9 day roster - 9 days on/5 days off. (Shifts include working evenings Mon- Friday and every weekend)

We are looking for a customer-focused individual with a good understanding of the construction, restoration and maintenance of civil infrastructure assets.
The positions involves working alone in the field, responding to a range of emergency and non-emergency requests after hours.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
- Practical experience in the construction, restoration and maintenance of civil infrastructure assets.
- Effective knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of the City of Sydney after hours emergency response service.
- Be physically fit and flexible to work on a rotating shift. Includes working evenings and every weekend.
- Hold a current C Class licence.
- Good understanding of WHS work practices.
You must also have proven time management skills, ability to prioritise, deal with conflicting issues and meet deadlines. The ability to deliver high quality customer service and to promote a professional image to customers is essential.
