With more than 1,800 employees across 39 locations, we all work towards our common goal to link the nation and keep Australia moving. As the rail industry undergoes significant transformation, we’ve invested billions of dollars to build, expand and modernise our network to get freight off the road and onto rail, and we’re not stopping. That’s good for our customers, motorists, the environment, and communities.
About the Team
Safety is our top priority at ARTC, not just for our employees and contractors but also for rail operators and the communities we serve. The Safety & Environment team plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our rail assets. We work across and within several complex and challenging environments, from greenfield construction sites to operation and maintenance of some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia where our purpose is to enable ARTC to deliver while protecting the health and safety of our people, the community and environment.
