The City of Stonnington is seeking a knowledgeable, professional and passionate person to join our Physical Operations Department as the Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure Maintenance Unit, coordinating the maintenance programs for roads, paths, rights-of-way, drains, car parks, signs and street furniture as well as ensuring appropriate, professional and timely responses to the community.
As the Infrastructure Maintenance Unit must carry out work in accordance with various legislation, it is crucial that this position ensures the consistent provision of high quality maintenance of Council’s Civil Infrastructure. Therefore, this position will work closely with other units and Departments within Assets & Services and other Divisions as well as commit to customer service, continuous improvement and the application of Best Value principles.
To be successful in this role, you will require a qualification in Civil Engineering with several years’ experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience, be responsive and flexible towards our community, have experience in the co-ordination of civil infrastructure maintenance services, excellent project management experience and have a focus on quality management and continuous improvement.
