The opportunity

Due to the establishment of a new organisational structure and strategy, an opportunity has been created for a highly dynamic and commercially minded HR leader to join our business as Head of HR – Construction Systems.

The role is based out of our head office in North Ryde and supports our sites at Somersby as well as Goulburn and Minto.  You will be responsible for implementing the group HR strategy and partnering leaders to develop a high performance environment and an engaged team.  

Reporting to the Executive General Manager of HR and partnering closely with the executive and senior leadership team for Construction Systems, you will play a vital role in implementing the HR plans designed to support the overall business strategies. The role is responsible for ensuring professional and timely execution of service in the areas of Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Communication and Change Management.

We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual that is keen to make a difference and provide win-win solutions for all stakeholders. To be considered for this fantastic role you will need to be well versed across: 

  • Acting as a commercial business partner to operations and business leaders
  • Driving ahigh performance culture
  • Industrial Relations, including negotiating and implementing industrial agreements
  • Previous experience in culture change initiatives in a manufacturing environment;
  • Sound HRIS understanding (eg Payroll/HR);
  • Leadership and development of teams

This role will offer you a broad scope of responsibilities and opportunities to different industries and stakeholders within and beyond our iconic organisation. Occasional interstate travel is required in this role.
