The City of Bunbury's Landscape and Open Space department is seeking a full time Supervisor, Irrigation and Sports Infrastructure.

The successful candidate must have extensive experience in the irrigation field and a demonstrated background in crew supervision. We are looking for a supervisor that is a strong leader who is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

The responsibilities for this role include:
  • All City of Bunbury irrigation, bore and mains systems. Staff performance management. 
  • Staff supervision. 
  • Organise and run team meetings. 
  • Schedule maintenance of relevant plant and equipment. 
  • Commitment to Occupational Safety and Health. 
  • Ensure timely, efficient and effective implementation of maintenance works.

The key skills required for this role include:
  • Irrigation installation. 
  • Maintenance of bore and mains systems. 
  • Landscape construction irrigation. 
  • Turf management. 
  • Safe operations and certification for relevant plant, equipment and vehicles. 
  • Crew supervision and leadership. 
  • Team work. 
  • Organisation and time management. 

What we offer
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2015 Enterprise Agreement with a Level 5 salary range of $67,875 to $71,647 gross depending on experience and qualifications.

Permanent position.

76 hours per fortnight.
