Our council has been working hard over a number of years to make sure that the organisation is financially sustainable going into the future. This is being addressed in a multi-layered approach, which includes improving efficiencies and reducing operating expenditure costs.

We are seeking an experienced individual with demonstrated commercial acumen and a strong understanding of legislation relating to road use including heavy vehicles and the transportation of plant.

The role of Team Leader Plant is to:

  • Lead, facilitate and coordinate plant operations.

  • To increase plant utilisation, maximise business opportunities and returns relating to plant and plant hire.

  • To provide support to the leadership team of Coffs Harbour City Council by establishing a high performance organisation through the development of its people and processes.

The ideal applicant will possess a Certificate IV in a relevant discipline together with experience in plant operations and maintenance and supervision of staff.

Additional Requirements:

The successful applicant may be required to undertake pre-employment screening including but not limited to behaviour and skills assessment, medical screening and alcohol & drug testing.
