The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Research Scientist/Engineer – Non-Ferrous Extractive Metallurgy to take a leading role in CSIRO’s Metal Industries Program. In this exciting role, you will focus on extractive metallurgy and reduction thermodynamics of titanium, scandium, lithium, vanadium, and/or other high-value materials.
As the successful applicant, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to design, undertake, analyse, and interpret experiments and data from fundamental thermodynamics to demonstration-scale equipment. This research will contribute to creating industries and technologies of the future.

Location: Melbourne (Clayton) Victoria, Australia
Salary: AU$97k - AU$105k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
