Project Manager - Manufacturing

CSIRO’s Applied Physics Group is a diverse team of scientists, engineers and research staff which develops devices and engineered systems for the benefit industrial partners including in aerospace, space, defence, renewable energy, telecommunications, minerals and mining, and transportation. In particular, quantum devices is an area for significant expansion and we are seeking to fill a number of exciting new roles across the group.
As the Project Manager you will be to provide non-scientific support for a portfolio of interlinked scientific research projects in the Applied Physics Group. The projects involve a multi-disciplinary extended team working on quantum technology development with additional activities in sensor chip production and scale up. You will manage the portfolio of projects in collaboration with the project leaders in aspects of planning, resource analysis, scenario planning, setting priorities, negotiating and assigning work allocations, tracking progress, reporting internally and externally and budgeting. You will also play a key liaison role with external clients.
This role is offered on a full-time, part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE) or job share basis (if circumstances permit). Talk to us about your needs.
