As the Level Crossing Removal Project continues to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro team involved in this large-scale project is expanding to respond to current and future works. Metro Trains partner of the Western Program Alliance team have an opportunity for a Health & Safety and Rail Safety Advisor to join the Level Crossing Removal team servicing current projects within the East and West corridor.
The Health & Safety and Rail Safety Advisor is to ensure the safe and successful delivery of the Alliance program, by providing operational ‘Rail Safety and Health & Safety” advice and support the delivery teams on construction activities conducted within the rail corridor
This dual aspect role has a key focus in ensuring construction activities occurring within the rail corridor do not have a adverse impact upon train operations as well as being conducted safely for all employees and contractors. The role will be heavily focused on rail safety and the interface risks between construction activities and rail operationso.
