Maxima have been engaged to recruit a Civil Project Engineer for a well known Civil Contractor completing a Water & Wastewater project for the Gold Coast City Council.

This role will see you working full time hours for the next 3 - 4 months on labour hire, with the opportunity of going permanent for the right candidate. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure the desired project outcomes are met
• Planning and supervising the installation of Polypipe
• Providing input into the planning of the project
• Monitoring costs and budgets throughout the project
• Delegation of daily tasks to contractors
• Demonstrating and promoting a safe working environment

To be considered for this role a successful applicant must have:

• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelor of Civil Engineering)
• Previous experience with Water & Wastewater Projects
• Have a complete understanding of water and pipeline infrastructure
• Previous experience meeting budgetary requirements
• Current knowledge of technical standards and legislations
