Logistics Branch - Air Force (LOGBR-AF) are looking for an experienced Project Manager to become the Deputy Director (DD) of the Air Force (AF) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transition Team. The Enterprise Resource Planning is a whole of Defence Program seeking to amalgamate many disparate Defence Information Systems into one information system with SAP (S4HANA) at its core.  Air Force has established a Transition Team to manage internal Business Change Management as the Transition team will be the AF change agent for the Defence ERP Program Office. 

It is essential that the applicant has a demonstrable ability to deliver projects or programs within a complex organisational environment and experience to manage a small team. It is highly desirable that abilities include either experience in extant Defence Logistics Information Systems (LIS), or experience with SAP as the selected IT solution for the ERP. An understanding of, or experience in, Managing Successful Programs (MSP) is desirable. The applicant must possess  high quality written and oral communication skills, as duties will include briefing executive staff, preparing associated staff work and assisting in the development of business cases, strategies, project management plans, benefits realisation plans etc. using MSP methodology. 

Within their project management experience, the applicant must demonstrate how they have previously aligned program/project outcomes to related legislation and policies, how they have previously conducted risk management activities and how they have conducted stakeholder engagement such as ensuring program/project input is effectively socialised and submitted within required timelines. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to remain output focused, and provide examples of Organisational Change Management (OCM) activities conducted at a corporate level. Demonstrated familiarity with Defence or government organisational structures and business processes would be favourably considered.  Previous applicants need not apply.
