The Ships, Submarines and Maritime Systems Divisions of the Department of Defence will all play a critical role in the establishment of a naval ship building enterprise over the next two decades. These Divisions will undertake and deliver a range of exciting and challenging programs aimed at building and sustaining Australia’s future naval capability. To achieve this, the Defence organisation requires a talented, motivated and skilled workforce to drive this critical Government agenda.

Ships Division is seeking a professional, motivated and experienced EL1 ILS Manager (Acquisition) to provide ongoing logistics support to the Commonwealth Government's continuous naval shipbuilding projects. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to be involved in providing ILS management to Project SEA1654-3 (Auxiliary Oiler Replacement) within Specialist Ships Acquisition branch.

Ships Division is seeking applicants with demonstrated experience in managing integrated logistics support activities for major capital or complex projects. The successful applicant will support the Project Sea 1654-3 ILS Manager to manage the ILS Support System Constituent Capability elements and coordinate with project ILS staff, SPO (sustainment) staff and other ILS stakeholders, the evaluation of project deliverables and the transitioning of the sustainment system supporting the AORs in service.

The successful candidate may be required to travel interstate.

Employment will be offered on an ongoing (permanent) basis.
