Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW employs 750 staff across 25 offices servicing more than 37,000 customers.

Based in Tatura, we’re seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Customer, Infrastructure and Assets (CIA) unit in the Dam Safety team.

In this role you will work with operational and technical staff, and contribute to reviewing and updating the corporation’s Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Dam Safety Emergency Plans and Flood Operation Plans.

You’ll capture, record, review, update and present information contained in operation and maintenance manuals and emergency management plans, for a range of large dams and river diversion assets.  The role will include you periodically visiting remote dam sites and liaising extensively with dam operations and surveillance staff.

If you have extensive experience in operation, maintenance and emergency management practices, associated with water supply dams or similar large, complex infrastructure assets, together with good communication and writing skills, we’d love to hear from you.
