The Kmart Group is comprised of Kmart, K Hub, Target, Catch and the Kmart Group Asia sourcing business. It was formed as the Department Stores Division in February 2016, was rebranded to the Kmart Group in November 2018 and part of the Wesfarmers business. The division operates 460 stores collectively, across Australia and New Zealand and employs more than 44,000 team members.

What are we looking for?

An experienced, strategic, facilities management leader to drive our continued progress and success in finding new ways of working post COVID. Managing outsourced contracts, engaging with key stakeholders and managing all aspects for our facilities across Australia and New Zealand, this will include managing the Property Team Support function.

Other responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring the ongoing provision of safe, comfortable and inviting facilities
• Measuring, reporting on and encouraging high performance across all facilities contracts
• Establishing and reinvigorating national procedures for facilities maintenance and functionality
• Developing and implementing effective compliance management frameworks

About You

You’ll have a great understanding of facilities management and a commercial mindset developed over years of working and leading teams to optimise how facilities are utilised, accessed and enjoyed. You’ll align nicely with our team of highly committed and proactive professionals, all with the same goal of rising to every challenge and working collaboratively. You’ll build relationships easily and set the scene for high standards with your team and managed contracts.
