This position sits in the Health Materiel (HM) Cell within the Health, Logistics and Pharmacy (HMLP) Directorate under the Operational Health Branch, Joint Health Command. HMLP is responsible for health capability management across the ADF. The cell serves as the joint voice for clinical and health logistics in accordance to ensure the capability is modernised, standardised, interoperable and interchangeable.

This position is responsible for representing Garrison Health (GH) within the HM Cell ensuring that GHs interests are voiced relating to medical equipment planning, procurement, and sustainment activities in support of the organisations operational need. This position is also responsible for shaping, planning and introducing new or replacement future health capabilities.

On a day to day basis, you will consistently liaise with GHs clinicians and operations cell bringing to light health capability issues within the GH space. These issues will be discussed within the multi-disciplinary civilian and uniformed HM team to ensure the most appropriate equipment and consumables are brought in to service across the ADF.
