Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

We are looking for two Finance Business Partners – one for an ongoing role responsible for our Power Services portfolio, one our Indigenous Essential Services portfolio for a two year fixed term role. These roles will see you provide high-quality strategic financial guidance, leadership and insight for their operational business teams, interpreting business needs and translating these into meaningful quantitative and qualitative information which enables the achievement of Power and Water Corporation’s (PWC) core business objectives.

We are looking for someone who will bring a depth of knowledge and experience to the role demonstrating high level business acumen with a proven ability to strategically manage competing demands and priorities, someone who works effectively in a commercial environment. Your will have superior people skills with proven experience in managing successful teams in a busy work environment that ensure work objectives are met within specified time frames. Your extensive experience in developing, analysing and presenting monthly financial management reports to key internal and external stakeholders will see you succeed within the role.

Tertiary qualifications in finance, business, management, or other relevant discipline with either Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification along with relevant experience in a regulated utility or commercial environment, or Government owned Corporation will be viewed favourably.
