The Finance and Business Services function is responsible for the financial, procurement, commercial insights, corporate legal and business IT systems in Cenitex.

Accountabilities of the role:

  • The position will provide a range of services to support efficient and effective ICT contract and category management (i.e., hardware, services and software) in Cenitex. 
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of ICT contract and category management practices, working within Cenitex Procurement, including stakeholder management and planning of activities to ensure key deliverables are met.
  • Demonstrate customer-centricity in all procurement matters to deliver on the value proposition while adhering to Cenitex and VGPB policies and compliance frameworks.
  • The role will involve dealing with multi-national ICT vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, IBM, etc) and responsible for undertaking the preparation of RFx's, including the gathering of requirements, development of tender documents, evaluation plans, facilitation of the evaluation process,
  • Contribute to ensuring that Cenitex's procurement process drives market sustainability and supply chain excellence and minimise the risk of supply chain disruption through the development of close working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Engage with industry to ensure Cenitex is an informed client that clearly understands current and ongoing trends, opportunities, value and innovation.
  • Actively drive and improve stakeholder relationships to support a customer-focused engagement strategy through participation and facilitation of meetings, forums and activities.
  • The role will also provide recommendations on approaching the market to ensure value for money in accordance with Victorian Government purchasing requirements

About you

You will be able to demonstrate substantial knowledge, capability and experience in complex ICT (i.e., software, hardware and telecommunications) Contract and Category Management,
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement (e.g., requirements gathering, tender development, evaluations, commercial & legal negotiations, contract execution, analysis and renEwals), compliance, policy and risk.

You will exhibit accountability and integrity in your dealings, be proactive and creative while exhibiting an ability to link commercial outcomes with the team's actions, based on your synthesis of market knowledge and internal data.

You will lead and manage complex ICT sourcing market engagements, contract renewals, , to procure a range of goods and services related to technology on behalf of Cenitex.
Your ability to effectively manage contracts and source ICT goods and services that meet your customer's needs will set you apart in this role.
