We are currently partnering with a State Government department who are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join the team in a full time contract capacity. This contract is starting at 6 months with a potential to extend further.

The Role:

Your position in these well supported team will be to provide a range of tasks, encompassing the following:

• Provide specialist design and technical auditing of projects.
• This position is a subject matter specialist in Hydraulic Engineering discipline matters across the corporation.
• Provide the technical lead on Safety in Design matters for the Mechanical discipline team.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and adequate information to customers.
• Provide input on allocation of design and support resources for Mechanical discipline deliverables.

Skills & Experience:

In order to be considered for these positions you will need the following skills and experience:

• Professional Hydraulic, Mechanical or Civil Engineering qualifications.
• Post graduate qualifications.
• Affiliation and recognition of discipline expertise by Engineers Australia.
• Detailed knowledge of Hydraulic Engineering procedures and practices as applied in large engineering organisations.
• Excellent experience in investigation, option, concept and detailed design of Hydraulic discipline installations.
