What will you do?
As a Senior Stormwater Engineer you will work alongside, and take a lead role amongst, our team of civil engineers, modellers, and project managers in a multidisciplinary office in Christchurch. Our work includes subdivision design, three waters modelling and design, and transport projects for clients locally as well as across NZ. You will work in collaboration with our teams across NZ in creating robust storm water models against which to generate effective solutions for delivery to our clients.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
Work directly with our clients in solving their challenges presented by flood events and other water-related risks
Contribute to three waters design; stormwater, wastewater, and water supply networks
Leverage your hydraulic modelling experience in DHI, Mike Flood, HEC-RAS, or other similar software
Work on a range of significant modelling and mitigation projects
Be a part of a national team that actively pushes the development of digital technology in stormwater modelling

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a NZ Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering – and significant exposure to water modelling.
