The Logistics Manager provides oversight of seven Defence health facilities in Central Australia (CA). These facilities have multiple Supply Customer Accounts containing a multitude of complex medical equipment items (including consumables). Detailed management of these accounts is critical to ensuring safe, effective and efficient health service delivery within the region.

This position is responsible for the management and implementation of regional logistics practices and to ensure regional compliance in accordance with Defence Logistics Policy. In addition, this position is responsible for the monitoring of all logistics processes within the region including inventory management, stocktaking and audits. They will also provide technical advice, support, guidance and corporate governance direction to logistics personnel in the region as well as the Commanding Officer, Joint Health Unit CA. This position is also required to advise on facility management across all health facilities within CA.

The successful candidate will work within a high performing, multi-disciplinary civilian and uniformed health team that deliver health services to Australian Defence Force members over seven health facilities in CA.
